Important Deployment Notes

Environmental Mounting Requirements: While the G3 Reader Pro features an IP55 weather-resistant rating, this system is strictly designed for doors under full cover, awnings, or verandas. To prevent environmental water damage and protect hardware warranty integrity, readers must not be installed in locations entirely exposed to direct horizontal rain or extreme weather.

Mobile Credential Licensing: This kit includes 10 free smartphone “Touch Pass” licenses for the first year. To continue utilizing direct smartphone integrations (such as tapping via Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) after year one, a vendor licensing fee of approximately $5 USD per user, per year applies.

Core Infrastructure Requirements: To host and drive the UniFi Access platform, your local premises must feature an active UniFi OS Console (such as a Cloud Gateway Max, Dream Machine Pro, or Network Video Recorder) connected to an active internet line.
