Because standard, off-the-shelf dress plates do not exist to fit gripset combinations, our team can manufacture a completely custom brass or stainless steel architectural dress plate to mask the door defects perfectly. Contact us before ordering if your door face requires a custom plate. Also, ensure your door hinges are square; if a heavy timber door drops, the lower Mayfair latch tongue will drag inside the frame strike, making the handle stiff to depress.
