The Lockwood 7714 Standard Arm Door Closer (DC7714DASIL) is a surface-mounted door closer from ASSA ABLOY’s 7000 series, built for architectural and commercial applications. It features a fully formed metal cover over an extruded aluminium body manufactured from high-performance silicon alloy, with EN adjustable power from 1 to 4 and a rack and pinion closing mechanism.
It mounts as a standard, parallel, or over-door arm and is non-handed, suiting either left or right hand doors, and is supplied complete with a parallel arm bracket (SP7726-157SIL). The unit has been tested to Australian Standard AS1905.1:2005 for fire resistant door sets, successfully closing for up to four hours depending on the doorset — the hold-open feature is not fitted to this model, and is not approved for use on fire doors in any case.
