The Sylvan SL36E Snib Sliding Door Smart Lock provides ultimate freedom, entry flexibility, and premium security for modern residential properties. Explicitly engineered for residential aluminium sliding doors, its ultra-slim 39mm escutcheon width allows it to mount neatly onto narrow stiles while maintaining crisp, architectural lines.
This smart lock features an intuitive, secure lift-to-lock mechanism. To fully secure the entranceway, users simply pull the handle upward to instantly engage the heavy-duty twin hook bolts into the frame strike. This multi-point manual locking engagement can be performed smoothly from both the exterior and interior sides of the door leaf.
Certified with an IP55 weather rating, the lock body features fully reversible handing to easily adapt to left or right-handed sliding configurations on-site. The electronic chassis boasts a 50% extended battery runtime compared to similar smart locks, supporting up to 200 Fingerprints, 150 custom Passwords, and 150 RFID smart cards alongside a hidden mechanical key override pathway for complete peace of mind.

We strictly specify premium cells such as AA Energizer Max or AA Energizer Max Plus. DO NOT USE Lithium batteries or cheap Carbon Zinc (Super Heavy Duty Eveready) batteries; slow-draining cell arrays will cause voltage drops, triggering premature low-power alarms or locking failures. Additionally, note that backset measurements (28mm or 33mm) are calculated from underneath the mortice faceplate forend. This series is not suitable for applications exposed directly to high sea-salt mist or heavy sulphur thermal environments.
