Beveridges offers a dedicated automotive lock service. We can copy or make news keys, or carry out door or ignition lock repairs at your home or office, or the side of the road. Electronic transponder keys
Transponder keys are keys with an addition electronic security function (utilising an electronic chip) to the metal profile key. Therefore a car with this type of key cannot be started with just the metal profile key. The production, programming or copying of this type of key by Beveridges is more expensive than the tradition plain metal profile key BUT you’ll find our charges are often hundreds of dollars cheaper than taking your car to the vehicle dealer (if they can do it at all).
Note that Beveridges whilst being able to manufacture most transponder keys, we can’t make keys for some late model cars whilst the key programming information remains proprietary to the vehicle manufacturer.
Transponder keys come in many types and prices but transponder key copying, programming and production varies from approximately $120 to $180 per key (can be more for some applications). More...

Car ignition and door lock repair and service
Beveridges can repair or replace automotive ignition and doors that are worn or damaged by break-ins. We can also change the key profile combination and key alike the doors and boot if you’ve lost your keys and want to ensure no one can access your car. More...
Tip #1 – Get a copy or a new car key as soon as possible to avoid the inconvenience and additional cost of a service call, and keep that key in a safe yet accessible place for you only. Call us.
Tip #2 – When purchasing an exotic or European car, enquire about the cost of supplying a spare key and whether the key programming codes are available to Beveridges.
